Tea bags in every shape imaginable

Normally, a tea bag isn't a product you give much thought to. You put it in hot water, wait a few minutes, and then throw it away. But give that same tea bag the shape of a book, truck, airplane, Christmas tree, or even a capybara, and something else happens. Tea suddenly becomes a small, custom-made item that fits a brand. “We turn ordinary tea into something people remember,” says Asia, founder of Teabag.

The story of Teabag began during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many companies were putting things on hold, an idea emerged with Asia that seemed small but turned out big. Photographing books was one of her hobbies, and she was looking for something special to make her photos more interesting. That is how she came up with the idea of a tea bag in the shape of a book. That creative experiment became the beginning of the brand.

Since then, Teabag has grown from an online gift shop into a company focusing on personalized promotional gifts. A major turning point came in 2022, when the company participated in the Festival of Marketing in Poland. Later, participation in PSI in Düsseldorf led to further international growth and new clients from various European countries.

At Teabag, every product starts with the client's idea. Which shape suits the brand and ensures immediate recognition? Over the years, Teabag has made tea bags in the shape of books, trucks, airplanes, honeycombs, and Christmas trees, among other things. The most striking shape? “Probably a capybara,” says Asia. Every commission proves once again how boundless clients' imaginations are. It is precisely such an unexpected design that turns an everyday tea bag into a small eye-catcher, where the real ‘wow’ moment often only occurs once someone holds it in their hands.

This aligns with a broader trend in the market. Companies are increasingly looking for promotional products that are creative and useful, while simultaneously aligning with their identity. “Our clients don’t want products that disappear into a drawer somewhere,” says Asia. “They are looking for something that people really remember.”

In addition to eye-catching tea bags, Teabag also produces personalized gift tubes, gift sets, and floral tea collections. Yet, the custom tea bag remains the showstopper. Customers often come with just an initial idea, after which Teabag assists with the design, visualizations, and technical execution. This personal guidance ensures that customers regularly return with new projects. “We don’t simply sell products,” says Asia. “We help customers bring their ideas to life.”

The fact that Teabag operates from Poland helps the company stay close to the European market. Orders can be processed quickly, and customers do not have to wait long. But according to Asia, the strength lies not only in the location.

“What makes our region special is the entrepreneurial mentality and openness to new ideas. People here are creative, flexible, and think in terms of opportunities. You see that same energy reflected in our company: we act fast, look for the best solutions, and do not shy away from new challenges.”

Teabag therefore does not start from a standard product, but from the question of how something small can still leave a lasting impression. Not tea bags with just a logo, but tea bags that become part of the idea themselves. Small in size, but big in memorability.
