THE SUPPLIERDAYS 2026
Michel Hofsté - Araco
Arthur Strijbos - Premium Square
Exhibitors speak out about trade fair expectations
The Supplierdays will take place at Expo Houten on September 2 and 3. The 2026 edition has the theme Eurodutchies, emphasizing the broad European perspective of entrepreneurs in the industry. We look ahead with five exhibitors who share what they expect from the fair this year.
The Supplierdays 2026 promises to be a lively trade fair for the promotional market. By early August, the count stands at no fewer than 242 exhibitors. In addition to Dutch participants, you will find exhibitors at Expo Houten from Germany, Belgium, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Sweden, Austria, the Czech Republic, and England, among others. With the European focus, things seem to be well underway ahead of the fair. We asked four Dutch and one German participant about their expectations for The Supplierdays 2026. What will they present and what result do they want to achieve?
Araco ‘Emphasis on unburdening customers’
Visitors to the stand of textile specialist Araco can discover a broader story than just caps and clothing, Commercial Director Michel Hofsté tells us. “We want to show everything that is possible at Araco. Not only the purchase of caps and beanies, but also the guidance of complete custom projects.” In addition, new printing techniques and possibilities for sourcing and certification are highlighted. Hofsté: “The emphasis in our presentation lies on unburdening customers.”
Winter season kick-off
Araco, named Supplier of the Year last year as a multi-specialist, views The Supplierdays primarily as a social moment where virtually all business relations come together in one place. “It is very nice to have personal contact with everyone just before the important winter season. It gives us the opportunity to demonstrate how professional we are and to underscore our reliability as a supplier,” says Hofsté.
Valuable investment
Because the company wants to present itself stronger than ever to the Dutch and Belgian markets, it is pulling out all the stops with a stand styled sleekly in line with the Araco image. Hofsté: “The investment pays for itself in relationships. You can never visit as many companies in two days as we speak to during The Supplierdays. Through the conversations at the trade fair, we know what is going on with customers, and that is incredibly valuable.”
Premium Square ‘We can produce anything’
Premium Square wants to use The Supplierdays this year to let visitors experience what it stands for today. “We have moved much more towards the niche side,” says co-owner
