Exhibitors speak out about trade fair expectations

Arthur Strijbos. “Premium Square is an extension of distributors who want to develop something special for their customers.” Therefore, the stand focuses on substantive contact with business relations. To this end, the company is introducing, among other things, an interactive game in which visitors stand a chance to win a discount on a subsequent order. Premium Square also presents examples of custom-made products, ranging from umbrellas and game boards to gadgets developed entirely in the corporate style.

Surprising products

From previous editions of The Supplierdays, Premium Square has learned that a striking presentation and a clear message make all the difference. That is why the stand is styled in the company's branding and focuses on custom solutions. Strijbos: “We want to show that we can produce anything, from a unique paperclip to a complete game or Christmas ornament. Our customers are looking for products for the end client to surprise their business relations; we can help them with that.”

Communicating a change of direction

According to Strijbos, the trade fair is an important moment to introduce distributors to his company's renewed proposition. “Since Premium Square has been focusing more explicitly on custom-made solutions, we have noticed that not everyone is yet familiar with that change of direction. The Supplierdays will be a complete success for us if we can convey our story to as many visitors as possible.”

Blokzeep, a brand of sustainable personal care products belonging to Premium Square, is exhibiting in its own stand. There, visitors get a glimpse into the production process of the body and hair products through videos, among other means. This is how the brand wants to make its story more tangible.

Buttonboss ‘Focus on new headwear’

Thijs Wiegerink of Buttonboss views The Supplierdays as a valuable autumn event. “The organization has made good progress regarding the size and setup of the trade fair, and there is great interest in it within the industry. Moreover, the timing is excellent, right after the holiday period and

just before the important final months of the year.” For Buttonboss, the fair is therefore an ideal moment to speak with existing business relations and to highlight the latest developments within the company.

Sustainable and custom-made

This year, Buttonboss is emphasizing its renewed collection of headwear, in which sustainability and quality go hand in hand. Wiegerink: “We have said goodbye to models that are outdated and replaced them with products that better meet current demand.” The winter collection, in particular, is receiving a lot of attention, as is the Tailor-made program. “Our custom-made service makes it possible to develop your own collection of headwear in retail quality. This can be done in small quantities and with a fast delivery time.”

Own podium

Buttonboss is a recurring exhibitor at The Supplierdays. It could share a stand with other companies under parent company Promocorp, but deliberately chooses not to. Wiegerink: “This makes it clearer to visitors where our strength lies, a choice that has had a positive effect on us.” According to him, however, the success of the trade fair participation cannot be measured by orders. “For us, The Supplierdays is a success if both visitors and exhibitors go home with a positive feeling.”
